    Established in 1967, London Cleaners is a family-owned & operated business selected as one of America’s Best Cleaners. They have made a name for themselves in the Cleveland Metropolitan area by eliminating brick-and-mortar storefronts to focus completely on complimentary pickup and delivery dry cleaning services. They have maintained a great reputation through the “London Cleaners Difference,” consisting of high-end garment care, eco-friendly cleaning, state-of-the-art equipment, outstanding customer service, and much more.

    The Challenge

    When London Cleaners came to us, they struggled with gaining new customers. Many of their current sales were from existing customers; however, they wanted to expand their customer base and bring in new leads. Part of the problem was their website. It was performing poorly, lacking engaging content and a user-friendly design. They also needed to re-evaluate their SEO strategy. They were ranking for keywords that were not related to dry cleaning services. We knew they needed a new and improved, functional online marketing strategy.

    The Solution

    When London Cleaners contacted us, we knew we would have to revamp their online marketing strategy. It was time to create a new website, curate a custom SEO strategy, and run a Google Ads campaign.

    Spec 1: Building an Online Presence

    To strengthen London Cleaners’ online marketing strategy, we started with a new website. A site that was well-designed and user-friendly was crucial for London Cleaners to clearly communicate their services and brand identity to new and existing customers. We wanted to portray London Cleaner’s values, which are quality and reliability. In terms of visual aesthetics, we decided on an elegant, cohesive, and simplistic design to accurately depict the brand as high-quality.

    Regarding user experience and site navigation, we ensured that information about their brand and services was easily accessible. It was clear to us that the dry cleaning industry is based on customer trust and loyalty, so we wanted to communicate that throughout the site clearly. We knew many are hesitant to leave expensive or sentimental garments in the hands of strangers; therefore, we focused on an essential aspect of London Cleaners: they are a family-owned and operated business with generations of experience. An “About Us” page dedicated to their story was crucial. We also created informational blog posts, an FAQ page, and a testimonials section to gain customers’ trust. 

    Spec 2: Increasing Traffic

    London Cleaners came to us with an SEO strategy that needed to perform better. It was limiting their traffic and resulting in a discouraging amount of leads. After discussing their goals, we devised an SEO strategy to expand the volume of ranked keywords and the volume of organic search traffic and conversions. We created location-based pages for all fifty-nine locations they service throughout the greater Cleveland area. We also created location-based service-related pages for the top services they wanted to push. 

    In addition to SEO, we ran Google Ad campaigns targeting specific dry-cleaning services. A separate campaign was run to advertise to specific zones with business potential. The paid ads have tremendously increased traffic and continue to bring in new leads.

    The Results:

     In just over a year, we increased organic clicks by 56% and impressions by 50%. But that’s not all. Our marketing plan was built to last over time, meaning these numbers will continue to grow. Our customer’s main issue was bringing in new customers, and our strategy was tailored specifically to that issue, resulting in a considerable increase in London Cleaners’ reach. We are passionate about helping people grow their businesses and are committed to real, tangible results for our customers. We are excited to see what the future holds for London Cleaners.
